I'm getting slower! It's hard to think about it, when you already tasted how to be fast. The tendency is to aim for faster finish time. It's becoming addictive and depressing when you have not achieved your race goals.
I signed up for this race because it was sponsored by my employer and I need some mileage in preparation for Tokyo Marathon. So there's no much pressure but I still aimed to finish within 2:30 and I did it with +35 second of time.
I'm happier here than in my last week's race. But I'm still looking forward to perform better. I guess that's what running has been doing for me - giving hope, not giving up, and always aim to do better.
Amazing post dear! You have a wonderful blog:)
